How about a snail?

Dear Bella, George and Lulu,
I am still dreaming about having a pet but it is hard if you are a small Chihuahua.  I was wondering if an insect or a snail or two would come inside and play with me.
What do you think?

Grandma said that she did not want any mess but snails leave a trail and bees sting.

How about some ants?  What do you think?

How about a cat?

Dear Bella, George and Lulu,
Do you think a cat would be a good pet for me or would a cat be unfriendly.  It would be as big as me! 

I bark at all the cats which come into our garden.  They do not run away.  Some are very brave and have sharp claws to fight with.

I would like to play with a nice cat for a pet.  Karina and Nicky say their 3 cats do not like dogs so maybe that is a dumb idea for even me.

A squirrel for a friend?

Dear Bella, George and Lulu,
I really want a pet. Do you think a squirrel would make a good friend and go for a walk with me?  

Grandma says that they would not be a good pet because they hibernate.  That means they go to sleep for the whole winter so no Christmas presents from a squirrel!  

She also says they BITE!  So do I!
